Influenced by references of the past and inspired by how they relate to the now, this pullover features a sleeve puff detail transformed from the Victorian Era. Here, more of a controlled puff because it doesn’t extend all the way down the arm, it imbues a touch of romance to the silhouette, allowing a little volume against the nice and structured, mid- weight high-twist cotton rib. And in a further nod to Victorian times, just as then, it is now; the flash of skin. The point of emphasis, the clavicle, can be framed, depending on mood or situation, wide open with the ties loose, or with the ties pulled like a drawstring for a ruffle effect, or even tied into a bow, creating more of a keyhole shape at the neckline.
